Wounded Soldiers
Music Ministry Leaders…
As soldiers, it is next to impossible to engage in battle without being wounded. Often there may be personality clashes, misunderstandings and many more small battles that we encounter with the world and within our own music ministries. It is important that we make a daily practice of getting in the Presence of God to allow God to nourish our wounds, so we can get back in position on the front line, fighting the enemy, not each other. Wounded soldiers, if not healed, are at risk of hurting others and ultimately, themselves. #J
Lucifer was the signature of beauty and perfection. He was covered in every precious stone. (Diamond, emerald, sapphire, gold…just to name a few…Ezekiel 28:12-13) It is important to remember that the stones covering Lucifer would look like mere, colored rocks if there was no Light shining on them. You can’t see the beauty of precious stones unless they are IN THE LIGHT. The Source of his beauty was God Almighty. Never forget The Source! We are-who we are- because of Him! We are nothing without God! #JCM
There is an art to soul-winning. Fishing is intentional! A fisherman does not go to the water, hoping that fish will jump out of the water and on to the boat. A fisherman knows that he or she cannot catch fish without being equipped with rod and bait. We are the bait. Our lives should attract others so much that we give them an appetite for our God. The Word of God is the rod. The Word of God should be extended in love, allowing Holy Spirit, the hook, to convict the ready heart and reel them i n.Prayer is the foundation of soul-willing. Seek the Lord, and ask Him to lead you on your fishing expeditions! Jesus says to us to follow Him, and He will teach us how to fish! (Matthew 4:19) #JCM
